Raising My Voice-Kin Graduation
Our Raising My Voice-Kin participants have graduated! On Saturday, August 12th, the Church of the Epiphany hosted Raising My Voice-Kin volunteer coaches, participants, and their families for a graduation ceremony and celebratory dinner. It was a moving day for all as some of our newly graduated speakers shared their stories of mass incarceration’s impact on their families.
A special thank you to the Church of the Epiphany for making the five-week program possible. Congratulations to our exceptional graduates for their bravery, strength, and their inspiring dedication to their loved ones.
Check out our press release, “On Becoming the Beloved Community”, in the Episcopal News Service for more information about the event.
Our newly graduated speakers are now available to share their stories publicly through our Speakers Bureau! Consider booking a speaker for your organization or private event today. Have questions about booking a speaker? Please email Lisa for more information.
